A Weekend Without Daddy

With Brian in Sandestin for a Bachelor Party last weekend, the girls & I decided we'd travel to Cumming to visit the fam. Grey & Willow loved all the space they had on the way up. So much so that I don't think they realized we were traveling... (note – picture below was taken without looking back)

On Saturday mom & I met Kelly for manicures & pedicures – what a treat! This has become quite a tradition on weekends that I'm home...and I have to say that I love it. What could be better than spending time with my favorite ladies while getting pampered?

Later, we went by Kelly & Caleb's new apartment...what a cute new home it is! Then, the bottom fell out of the sky & the rain began...perfect time to go home & watch movies with mom & dad. We celebrated Mother's Day a little early & I was able to visit with my favorite 6 year old!

All in all, the girls & I had a great weekend at home...but were SO ready to see daddy! Life just isn't as good without him. Period.

I thought I'd share a few before/after pictures of our sweet Willow. We were sort of worried about how skinny she was when we first got her from the ranch...but, that fear is gone. Brian has since nicknamed her Tubby, and tells me often about her "waddling." Poor thing. I prefer to call her "healthy." These pictures don't do justice because you can see her stomach or how she rolls herself over, but you can see that her face has filled out & resembles that of a lion right now. More to love, more to love.

Lastly, a picture of curious little Grey. I sold my old Canon back in January and just got a new one...Grey is curious below as I use her as my model to try out the new lens. I'll be back soon with more pictures & posts!
