easter weekend 2015

Easter was even sweeter this year for a number of reasons—one was that it was Elle's 1st! 

Another is that we were able to hear about the resurrection through Owen's eyes. I am constantly amazed at the little sponge that is his mind—what he learns and retains is unbelievable. We were able to drive home all of the things he learned at school using resurrection eggs at home. He told us about the palm leaves, the donkey, the crown of thorns, etc. Having a child really makes you understand why Jesus said that "we must become like children" in our faith. 

We went to Dothan this year and shared in Will's 1st Easter, too, which is another reason this year was extra sweet! And on Saturday we were able to get some photos of the kiddos.
