i love my daddy even when he is crabby!

Watching Brian in his role as Owen's daddy over this past year has taken my love for him a million miles deeper. He is very present and truly divides parental duties with me. Owen is such a little clone of his daddy – which makes my hands & heart full! I am so so grateful for him as my husband & as father to my little boy! Happy Father's Day, babe!

Owen's teachers sent him home with this frame for his daddy. It reads, "I love my daddy even when he is crabby!" It's so cute & those are Owen's hands made into a crab. What's hilarious about this is that Brian asked me if I told them to write that. Ha!  

This year for Father's Day, Owen & I surprised Brian with a long weekend at the beach – for daddy & mommy! It was SO relaxing & such a fun (hard-to-keep) surprise! We could not have asked for better weather! And although we missed our baby tremendously, it was nice to connect & have a weekend full of quality time together!

We took our (almost) yearly photo in front of The Chapel in Seaside & reminisced our wedding day. 

Meanwhile, Owen was having a blast with Aunt Kelly back at home...
