a year ago today...

...life changed forever. We found out we were expecting!

I remember every detail of that day, as I felt like it played out in slow motion. What started off as a normal day with a routine appointment ended up being life-changing. Now, a year later, our little O is pushing four months! We still sit & stare at him - studying every detail of his little self, because he changes so quickly!

Life looks a lot different today than it did on September 23, 2010 – and not just because Owen is here. This is true year after year, just easier to compare when there is something "tangible" to measure. And although we are surprised at life's changes time after time, God is not. He tells us not to worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow has enough worry of it's own. As I look back a year and look forward to the next I see that He has been so faithful to us – yesterday, today and will be tomorrow (and the next day, and the next day after that). Thank you, God, for blessing us with baby Owen – we can't imagine our lives without him. And thank you for all of the other ways you continually bless our lives. We are so very grateful.
