owen's dedication

"Then he put a little child among them. Taking the child in his arms he said to them, " Anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf welcomes me, and anyone who welcomes me welcomes not only me but my Father who sent me." Mark 9:36-37

A few weeks ago we dedicated Owen & committed ourselves to raising him up in the ways of the Lord. I pray that I will honor Him in my new roll, as O's mommy – and pray that he will forgive me when I fail, as I so often do. We loved spending this day with family & are so grateful for sweet baby Owen.

The next two photos are from the night before the service. To say Caleb loves his baby cousin would be a huge understatement – he cannot get enough of him. In fact, I talked to him on the phone today – he asked about & was so impressed by all of Owen's new tricks. "Can he hold his head up? Can he roll over? When will he be able to crawl?" I just love these two and hope that {even though they are 7+ years apart} they will be close!
