a special christmas gift

Today Brian & I were gifted these ornaments from my sweet friend, Brittany, who happens to be one of the most creative people I know (and she takes orders)! Oh, I just LOVE them!

The Bailey Christmas tree is one big green pine-needly scrapbook of our life. Almost every ornament on our tree represents something – our first Christmas', our marriage, annual ornament exchanges, homemade ornaments we've been gifted, ornaments we've picked up on trips we've taken, our first home, our huskies, and now our child. These ornaments perfectly represent our current season of life & I love that every year when we hang them we will reminisce on this time. Who knows, our future daughter-in-law might find herself hanging this stork on her tree some day – just as we hang Brian's childhood ornaments on ours...
