Last weekend we journeyed home to celebrate Christmas with the Fredrickson side of our family. We made spritz (and other Christmas cookies), drank apple cider, sang Christmas carols while my Grandma played the piano, exchanged gifts, and remembered the reason for the Christmas season.

Each year (for the past 3 years) my Mom has taken Caleb to one of those "Created By You" places. He thoughtfully picks out & paints a gift for each one of us. I have to say, his gifts are truly my favorite each year. He signs the back with his name & the date. I've been gifted a picture frame, a Santa dish (which I use as a spoon rest), and the snowman plate below. Last year Brian was gifted a large Auburn colored mug (that he uses on his desk for pens) & this year was the below football painted orange and blue inside. I love how creative & thoughtful Caleb is with each gift!
