Swanky Chipmunk Diggs

When we first moved in I was excited to clean up this old school grill and use it as a make-shift fire pit. I was going to kick it off pretty soon because fall is finally here. Apparently a family of chipmunks have decided to upgrade from their lower rent spot in the southside of the Bailey backyard under the deck. They have now gone northside and are living in high cotton in the stone covered (future) fire pit. Every morning they are sitting on top of it eating and talking to each other. By the way, for those that don't know, they kind of make a "barking" sound. It's actually pretty loud, it can wake you up early on a Saturday morning. Since I don't have the heart to clean out their new house, or by a BB gun, I guess I'll let Chip and Dale stay there. Does anyone know what they eat? My goal is to eventually have one sit on my shoulder.
