great tailgating, great game, not so great score...
Although Auburn lost to LSU, Saturday was a great day of tailgating and an exciting game. We spent the night in Auburn on Friday night (thank you so much, Callie, for letting us stay!), we set up the tent, and finished preparing the food for tailgating. Saturday we were downtown by 10:30am - ready for a long (fun) day of tailgating & plenty of it, with a 6:45pm kick-off!Every year when Auburn plays LSU I think about our friends Chip & Jenny; they both swam (and met) at LSU. Sweet Chip was at the game so I snuck away from our seats to spend some time with him. If only he could have brought Miss Ruby - miss that pup! So, the game was very exciting and a lot of fun - until the 4th quarter, when exitement turned to stress. This is where the post will end, as we all know what happened next!
