seven months

Baby boy is a MESS – a "wrecking ball" as daddy says!! At seven months (wow!), he is into everything! His curiosity and thought process are fun to watch – the way he pokes out his lips (like his daddy) when he's concentrating, how he focuses on something and goes after it, and then the way he gets sidetracked and bee-lines for the next best thing. What a FUN age!

Notes from Owen's seventh month:
– he is getting tiny curls above his ears & in the back of his head
– he holds his hands out for us when he wants us
– he "kisses" us by leaning in with an open mouth (LOVE this!)
– the open mouth kisses often lead to "chewing" on our noses
– he has mastered crawling (starting during month 6)
– he pulls up on everything & has gotten very good at standing
– he is taking little steps while holding our hands
– he likes to sleep on his right side, or face-down with his legs curled up under him
– sometimes he chews on/sucks his thumb – thinking this is part of teething
– changing his diaper is like changing a lion – he rolls over every time
– he loves being out & about – and we love taking him with us
– he loves daddy's mighty bright
– he says something that sounds a LOT like "dada"
– he is curious, curious, curious!
– oh, and this just in – his newest trick is clapping!!

Gone are the days of laying him on the lamb mat and taking monthly milestone pictures. Below is how that went...
