christmas in january

1.26.2012

{notice anything about the stockings above? – O's name was put on without any reference of the others:) ha! maybe next year it will look more like the others. these are very special stockings in our family, as my nana made the first ones.}

Better late than never, right?

This year we spent Christmas in Cumming – Owen's first! Here are some highlights of the weekend...

Gingerbread house decorating...

This is a joke that we made into a shirt. "Camp Kelly" is like baby bootcamp – not really, but baby O LOVES Camp Kelly!

O at the dinner table Christmas Eve with his crown...

Cousinly love...

An attempt at a family photo – doesn't O look thrilled?

These make me laugh...

Opening 1 or 2 gifts on Christmas Eve has become a tradition that we love. Caleb opened a trip from his mommy to DC – leaving Christmas morning! O loved the paper...

The Christmas tree after Santa came...
We were all up bright & early Christmas morning. Believe it or not, it was Caleb that woke us up – not Owen. Santa went overboard for both of the boys – although all he needed to bring O was a couple rolls of wrapping paper. He loved it!
Our boys. In front of the Christmas tree on Christmas morning in matching pjs. It doesn't get much cuter than that!
Family pic. Owen's first Christmas morning!
Owen & his Aunt Kelly.
Mommas & our boys.

More cousinly love!

I love this picture. It sums up much of life at our house.

O wants whatever daddy has!
An ornament for next year – our little gingerbread family!

It was a truly surreal Christmas – being with our 7 month old on his first Christmas! I loved seeing it through his eyes and am already anticipating next year. Thank you, family & friends, for making it such a special time!
