Now, for the rest of Owen's six month post – since he's actually pushing SEVEN! 

What a sweet little boy we have – such a good baby. He rarely cries, he adapts well, sleeps through the night, eats like a champ, and is just generally laid back. Although he's been scooting around for a while, December 20th will go down as the first day he crawled. I mean really crawled. He is very inquisitive – wants whatever we have & wants to "figure out" every thing. Changing his diaper is nearly impossible because he barrel rolls the moment the diaper is opened up.

Doctor McCain says he's perfect, and we think she's right! I am listing his stats from each "well" appointment so that I can remember where he is/was. Since a month old he's been sitting pretty in the 90-95 percentile for weight, and we LOVE it! Last week he was 20.8 pounds. Now that he's crawling, I'm sure he'll slim down some – but not too much, I hope!

These next pictures & video is from his 6 month appointment. We're convinced that all we needed to get him for Christmas is a roll of paper :) I took the video of Owen & Brian while we waited for Doctor McCain. Owen loves to "bite" our noses – I thought this was cute of him pulling Brian in for an open-mouth kiss & a few love "bites."

By now we have settled into a pretty good routine. Part of that is beginning every day waking up to the sweet sounds of O on the monitor – sitting up, talking to Mr. Hippo, just as happy as a little lark! He's so smart. When he hears one of us walking up the stairs, and into his room, he stops talking and turns his head to look towards the door. As soon as he sees us he flashes that sweet gummy grin. Definitely one of our favorite times of the day. Another favorite time is when he takes his mid-morning nap – especially on Saturdays:)
