Brian's first Father's Day was last weekend and I had every intention of uploading photos to document the day, but time escaped me. It was truly a great day – and the truth is, I hope Brian feels the same love from us every day that he did last Sunday.
Stepping into the role of "daddy" came more naturally than Brian thought it would. He knows just as much about Owen, his routine, and how to take care of him than I do. I often catch him talking to Owen or making faces at him, and fall even more in love with both of them. The little relationship they are developing makes me excited – on one hand I want time to pass quickly to witness it as he grows up, but on the other hand I want to bottle these sweet moments as to not forget them. I am so grateful for Brian as my husband, and now as the father of our son. Happy first Father's Day, babe!
