my bags are packed

Here we are at week 37 and "hurry up and wait" is the name of the game. My bags have been packed since around week 32 – they've been unpacked and repacked a few times, too. This being our first child, I had no idea what we'd need during our stay at the hospital (besides the obvious). I sent out an email to some of my mommy friends asking them for advice on packing for the hospital and followed every bit of it to a "t." I've got everything from nursing gowns to socks to snacks to The Cosby Show Season 1 & 2 to chapstick & hair bands to pajama pants to coming home outfit(s) for O, and everything in between. The best suggestion, though, was making a list of those things that are not packed – so that Brian will know what to grab last minute if need be.

As of right now I'm scheduled to be induced on May 31st, unless something changes or baby boy decides to come on his own before then. In the meantime, we are enjoying sweet time together and getting excited about Owen's big debut!
