all we do is win, win, win...

1.12.2011

WE WON!!! Our Auburn Tigers are 2010 National Champions! (that flows so well off the tongue, doesn't it?) Because of some very nice people, my husband was able to witness this once-in-a-lifetime event! A big thank you to my parents for the sky miles & to Brian's friend, Brad, for thinking of him (and hooking him up) when it came time to invite a friend! I wish we both could have gone, but I'm SO thankful that Brian could experience this for the both of us. The only thing I asked was that he take my camera, so that I could see things through his eyes when he returned:)
Meet Brad... in all his giddy Auburn glory!

Brad is the son of one of the Auburn coaches, so Brian & Brad stayed where the players & coaches stayed – the Scottsdale Plaza.
This is where the players/coaches meetings were held on the days leading up to game day.

Here's the token cactus picture, outside the hotel...

Game Day!! The University of Phoenix Stadium

I love this sign – right outside the stadium

Almost time! Players & Coaches running out onto the field...

A view of the band from Brian's seats (50 yard line, 16 rows from the field)

Brian & Brad before the game

Auburn WINS! Auburn WINS! Confetti all around!

Coach Chizik with the trophy!

And a new flag to wave... CHAMPIONS!
