big sisters with big news

We're having a baby!!

Brian & I are expecting our first child and are truly thrilled! We found out on September 23rd and still can't believe it. Baby Bailey is due on {or around} June 5th.

the big sisters have no idea how their lives will change next year

We had our 12 week appointment/another ultrasound today where we heard the sweet little heartbeat & were overwhelmed with God's greatness! I have felt great throughout & am so thankful for that! We're praying that Baby Bailey will be healthy and active & are just really trying to soak it all in! Thank you God for this sweet blessing!

We told our families 6-7 weeks ago – Beth on her birthday, the Fredricksons while celebrating Dad & Caleb's birthdays, and the Baileys on Linda's birthday. The way we told all of them was the same:

Beth: She & I had plans to go to the Sugarland concert {to celebrate her birthday with the girls}, so I told her that I would pick her up. When I got to her house I gave her a little box. The look on her face when she opened the onesie was priceless!

Fredricksons: Dad opened his first, but it's all kind of blurry because Caleb was also opening his. Dad held up his "I love poppy" onesie and I said, "we're having a baby" and gave mom, Kelly, and Grandma theirs. It was such a fun day!


Baileys: Brian & I drove to Dothan for the night to take Linda to dinner for her birthday. We hadn't seen her in a while so it was perfect & we figured she wouldn't expect anything! When she opened her gift {which had the onesie on top} she turned to me to say, "Kristen, are you pregnant?" Yep, I am. She loved the surprise!
