Twenty-ten. Really? To say that time passes quickly would be an understatement. This post is quite tardy as the first month of the year is about to come to a close, but I've been at a loss of things to say, or show, or post about.

To catch up - we had a wonderful Christmas with both our families (Dothan mid-December & Cumming on the date). We love the traditions (and sometimes lack of) we were able share with family and have started some of our own for our smaller family of 2 (or 4). We rang in the New Year with close friends and have since enjoyed being home-bodies. I was able to go home to see my high school friends & Brian has enjoyed some guy time during the play-offs. All & all our year is off to a good start.

Each year it's a personal goal of mine (maybe just my OCD coming out) to make a list of things I'd like to accomplish (check off) over the course of the following 12 months. It's a chance to reflect on the previous year, re-group and try to better myself. I looked over my list from last year & was able to "check off" about 99% of what I had written (yay!). It may be just me, but goals seem easier to accomplish when I'm coming off a "fresh start" of some kind. So cheers to the New Year!

This year I have 22 things I'd like to do or keep myself accountable for in 2010:
– Read the Bible every day
– Be in constant communication with God
– Give more, save more, spend less
– Worry less, encourage more
– Go on at least one date a week (with Brian:))
– Send more hand-written notes
– Run another 1/2 marathon
– Go on a hot air balloon ride
– Call at least 2 friends, per week (friends I don't talk to daily/weekly)
– Intercede for others
– Plan & take at least one vacay with Brian
– Take a couple's vacay
– Improve on my photography skills
– Clean out our closet & give away clothes
– Send birthday cards
– Organize recipes
– Organize old pics
– Plan a girl's weekend with mom & Kel
– Read at least one book a month
– Visit at least 3 out-of-town friends (friends, get ready!)
– Join a Sunday School class (officially)
– Take on at least 6 freelance jobs

Grey & Willow are great together. Willow has been such a blessing – she's such a sweet dog & we feel so blessed to have her at home with us. The picture above is the girls on the way home from the vet.
