I've been tagged, so here goes...
1. I've always wanted a boy’s name as a nickname – growing up my name was Samantha ("Sam" for short) playing house or whatever. My name actually works perfect for this – “Kris” for short. A handful of my close friends call me “Kris” & most of the time this is how I sign cards/notes/emails.
2. I love lists. I have 3 different lists beside me now. I love crossing things off my lists; this brings my heart great joy.
3. I love organization. Seriously, if I could be paid to organize for a living, I would. If anyone knows of an opening along these lines, let me know! I need a job:)
4. Cooking is one of my favorite things to do. I want to design my own cookbook or design menus for restaurants.
5. 5. This brings me to design. I love art and have a graphic design degree, but ironically failed Art History in college (1 semester).
6. I have a great memory, however. I can remember birthdays, events, random things that have happened – but not paintings, not historical events, and not names. I'm really bad at remembering names.
7. 7. I love massages and have found the perfect masseur. I used to get a massage once a month and can't wait to have a job so I can do that again!
8. 8. I’m also obsessed with pedicures. My mom & I usually get one every time I’m in Atlanta. I would get one once a week if I could!
9. 9. I am married to my best friend.
10. 10. My husband is one of my best friend’s brothers. Beth & I were suite mates in college. I realize how lucky I am to have a friend as a sister-in-law and hope that I never take it for granted.
11. I am very close to my mom. Mom & I talk on the phone between 2 and 6 or so times a day. These are not necessarily long conversations, but still we talk a lot. She is one of my best friends & I hope I never take this for granted either.
13 12. I like to run. I stopped for a while, but have gotten back into it. I hope to run a ½ marathon very soon. My favorite place to run is Auburn!
1 13. I hope our children go to Auburn. I loved every second of my time there. My biggest regret is that I only spent one summer there, I should have never left!
16 14. My Pop-pop paid for my tuition at Auburn, although he was an Alabama fan.
15. My favorite meal is tomato soup & a grilled cheese!
17. 16. I love to be barefoot & I prefer this to any shoes I own.
17. I love the beach. I love sitting on the beach from early in the morning until after the sun sets. Of course this is much better with an adult beverage, a good book, the radio playing and a few good friends!
2 18. I love the smell of cut grass, babies, puppy breath, gasoline, and rain.
2 19. I like the feeling you get after a good cry – such a great release!
2 20. Candy is one of my favorite things. I love smarties, nerds, sour patch kids, gummy worms – I’m not so much a chocolate girl.
21. I love to travel and wish we could do it a lot more!
22. I LOVE birthdays – my birthday AND everyone else’s. I love making a big deal out of them.
25 23. I have never loved a dog as much as I love our little “fuzzy butt” – and I've had & loved a lot of dogs.
24. I covet sleep. I go to bed early & sleep as late as I can.
25. Vacuuming makes me so happy. I love the lines in the carpet!
