ebay. every time i bid on something, i lose. usually it's right at the very end... someone swoops in with a higher bid, and i'm left with nothing but feeling like a loser. beth & i got on a nintendo nes kick for a while. you know, the old school nintendo with super mario 3, mario 2, etc. we bid on a few systems and lost... every time! the only time i can remember winning was last fall when we put our iron bowl tickets up. i thought it would be genius to sign on as someone else and bid higher than the other person bidding, thinking this would make that person bid higher and that we would in turn get more money for our tickets. too greedy i guess b/c it didn't work out the way i intended... i won & we had to put them back up and hope someone else wanted them.
but today, oh today! today i finally won these fantastic sonic impact "will make my husband very excited" portable speakers! i'm no longer a loser, AND we saved $60+ and managed to make B very happy! he's been looking for something small, "weather proof," and easily transportable that would allow us to listen to his ipod wherever we are. and ever since he saw the people in front of us on the beach with one, he's been coveting the thought of getting one! i heart ebay!
