these days

We have been very busy lately! Since Memorial Day our "family calendar" has been covered! Let's play catch up (with photos)...

We spent Memorial Day at the beach, our first time back since our wedding. We had a great time and even did a little reminiscing.
The next weekend mom stayed with us. (Thanks again for a fun weekend, mom!) Fran, Beth, me & our moms hosted Brooke's Kitchen shower at our house. Very girly – and so fun!
Brian's cousin (and one of his best men), Clay, is getting married in September, so we went to Camden for their Engagement Party & had a lot of fun with family and friends. The Thomas side of the family has had a very busy year with Beth & Dustin's wedding, ours, and now Clay & Jeanna's coming up in September. What a fun time!We celebrated Father's Day with my dad at the Stevie Nicks concert. We were in the FRONT row! I've never been this close at a concert & it was definitely an experience. (dad, thanks for letting us tag along!) Here's a picture mom managed to take with her cell phone...While we were home were able to spend some time at the pool with Caleb. He has been taking swim lessons, so Brian was helping him perfect. I love seeing Brian interact with him – he's going to be a great dad someday! (ps - please look at the spiderman mask we found him–love it!!

Last weekend we had a relaxing weekend at home. We were able to have dinner with good friends of ours one night and grill with family the other night. Here's what we did Sunday...
